The Seiko Speedtimer SSC947P1 is a new addition to the Prospex Speedtimer collection.

This is a solar powered chronograph powered by the V192 caliber. The case shape is inspired by the 1964 original, with a new diameter of 41.40 mm. This model is affectionately called ""Pogue"" in reference to astronaut William Pogue. On November 16, 1973, he took his Seiko watch with him on a training mission. The watch was not certified for spaceflight by NASA, but he decided to use his personal watch anyway. During the official mission, Pogue will wear his Seiko on his left arm. This mission, Skylab 4, was the longest ever, with 84 days and 1,214 revolutions around the Earth.

The steel case has a diameter of 41.40 mm and a thickness of 13. The glass is sapphire and the strap is steel.
